PLUS donates 4 Honda CR-V patrol vehicles to PDRM

PLUS has handed over four units of the Honda CR-V in 1.5L turbo guise to the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) for the latter to carry out enforcement duties on highways.

The handing over of the four vehicles was conducted in the presence of PLUS managing director Datuk Nik Airina Nik Jaffar and IGP Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Haji Ismail. This follows the handing over of four similar units earlier this month by PLUS to the road transport department (JPJ).

The vehicles are shown to be wearing police livery on a white base along with roof-mounted lights, as on the units handed over to the JPJ earlier this month, and the expressway patrol vehicles are to assist in the role of law enforcement, patrolling and surveillance on highways operated by PLUS, according to the statement.

The latest batch of four vehicles handed over to PDRM is one of the initiatives between PLUS and the police to ensure the public may enjoy safe passage on highways, while enhancing law enforcement on PLUS highways, the highway opreator stated.
